What is RPGLMS?

RPGLMS (Role-Playing Game Learning Management System) is a gamified educational platform that transforms learning into an adventure. Gamemasters create Campaigns (courses) organized into Paths (modules) with Nodes (lessons) that hold Investigations, Reports, and Engagements (quizzes). Players progress through content, earning Shards (XP) and Renown (social currency) while climbing leaderboards. Our AI-powered tools help generate quizzes, learning materials, and assessments in seconds.

Who is RPGLMS for?

RPGLMS is designed for educators and students of all ages. Teachers, tutors, and homeschool parents use it to create engaging learning experiences. Students from elementary through higher education can participate. The platform is particularly effective for K-12 classrooms looking to increase engagement through gamification.

Is RPGLMS safe for students?

Yes! Student safety is our priority. Students under 13 can only use RPGLMS under teacher or parent supervision. We're COPPA compliant, don't serve ads, and collect only the minimum data needed for educational purposes. Teachers control classroom access with private join codes, and all AI-generated content is filtered for appropriateness.

What subscription plans are available?

We offer flexible plans to fit your needs:

  • Free: For Players (students) and teachers getting started. Join unlimited Parties, play Nodes, Engagements, Trials, and Rifts, create campaigns and parties, and track progress. (AI generation is not included on Free.)
  • Patron — $2.99/month (shown as "Explorer" at signup): Full avatar cosmetics, all mob types & colors, and 100K AI tokens/month — the first tier with AI content generation.
  • Lord — $9.99/month ("Teacher"): 2M AI tokens/month, join Houses to collaborate with other teachers, and email support.
  • Sovereign — $19.99/month ("Pro"): 5M AI tokens/month, create your own Houses, host public parties, and invite collaborators.
  • Enterprise — Custom: Realms for schools and districts — org-managed and admin-provisioned, with a shared AI token pool. Contact us to set one up.

Monthly and annual billing are available; annual plans are offered at a discount.

How do I subscribe?

You can subscribe directly within the RPGLMS app on iOS or Android, or through our web app at app.rpglms.com. Payments are processed securely through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our web payment provider. Your subscription activates immediately upon purchase.

Can I get a refund?

Due to the digital nature of our service and immediate access upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds. However, refunds required by law in your jurisdiction will be honored. For App Store or Play Store purchases, refund requests must go through Apple or Google directly. If you experience technical issues preventing use of the service, contact support@rpglms.com and we'll work to resolve it or provide appropriate compensation.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime through your app store subscription settings (iOS or Android) or through your account settings in the web app. After cancellation, you'll retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, then your account will revert to the free tier. Your content is preserved for 90 days.

Features & Functionality

How does AI content generation work?

Our AI features help you create educational content quickly. Simply describe what you need (e.g., "Create a 10-question Engagement on the American Revolution for 5th graders") and RPGLMS generates ready-to-use content. You can edit and customize all AI-generated material before sharing with Players. AI generation unlocks with a Patron subscription (100K tokens/month) and scales up with Lord (2M) and Sovereign (5M); Enterprise organizations share a pooled allotment. The Free tier does not include AI generation.

How do Parties (classrooms) work?

Gamemasters create a Party (classroom) and receive a unique 6-character join code. Players (students) enter this code to join the Party and play its Campaign. Each Party has its own leaderboards for Trials and Rifts, and Gamemasters track individual and group progress through the Party gradebook.

Can I use RPGLMS on multiple devices?

Yes! RPGLMS is available on iOS, Android, and web browsers. Sign in with your account on any device and your progress, content, and subscription status sync automatically. Create content on your computer, then monitor student progress from your phone.

Account & Data

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion from your account settings in the app or by emailing support@rpglms.com. Upon deletion request, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days. Note that if you're a teacher, deleting your account will also remove your campaigns (we recommend exporting or transferring content first).

How is my data protected?

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Your account is secured with email-and-password sign-in. We don't sell your data, don't show ads, and collect only what's needed for the service. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

RPGLMS accounts use email and password to sign in. If you've forgotten your password, contact support@rpglms.com and we'll help you regain access to your account.

How do I contact support?

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

We love hearing from our community! Email support@rpglms.com with the subject line "Bug Report" or "Feature Suggestion." For bug reports, please include what device and app version you're using, steps to reproduce the issue, and any error messages you see.
