Invite Collaborators to a House
Share a course with other teachers. Invite them by email as an Editor or a Teacher, manage who works in each House, and see what you have been invited to.

A House is a course, and you can share one with other teachers. You invite them by email, and each one joins as an Editor or a Teacher. You stay the owner.
Subscription
Requires Lord or higher.
Inviting collaborators to your Houses is part of Lord, and so is accepting an invite: the teacher you invite needs a Lord subscription or higher to join. If your own Lord subscription lapses, the collaborators you already have stay. You can still list them, change a role, remove someone or cancel a pending invite, but you can’t send new invites until you renew.
Tier vs. role — two different things
Lord is the subscription tier that unlocks collaboration. Editor and Teacher are the roles a collaborator holds in one House. They are different axes; a Teacher collaborator still needs Lord to accept.
Choose a role
When you invite someone, you pick their role. It defaults to Teacher.
- Editor: edits the House and sees its drafts, runs their own Parties, and can copy it.
- Teacher: reads the published House, runs their own Parties, and can copy it. No editing, no drafts.
Only the owner invites, changes roles and removes people. A collaborator can’t invite others. And because a public listing advertises the course, only the owner can list one of its Parties publicly; see Parties & inviting players.
Invite collaborators
Open the invite dialog
On your House’s page, find the Collaborators section and tap its Invite collaborators icon. You can also invite from My Houses: its header has the same action, and there you can tick several Houses at once. If your plan doesn’t include collaboration, the icon opens an upgrade prompt instead.

The dialog is titled “Invite to <House name>” (or Invite Collaborators when you are inviting to several Houses). Type the Email addresses, one per line or separated by commas, then choose Editor or Teacher. With several Houses ticked, everyone you list is invited to every House you tick. A note under the form reminds you that collaborators need a Lord subscription or higher to accept.

Tap Send Invites. You’ll see “Invite sent” (or “N invites sent”). If some can’t be sent, the dialog says how many and why. Each invite waits 30 days to be claimed.
What the invitee sees
The invitee gets a House Invitation in their notification bell and has to accept it. See Notifications. Accepting reads “You now collaborate on <House>”. If they don’t have Lord, the app tells them that collaborating on Houses they’re invited to is part of Lord, and the invite stays unclaimed.
Once they’ve joined, the House appears for them in the navigation drawer’s Gamemaster Quarters, under Shared with me, marked “Owned by <your name>”.
Manage who works in a House
In the Collaborators section (or, from My Houses, the course menu’s Collaborators entry):
- Pending invites: invites that haven’t been claimed yet, each with Cancel invite.
- Change a role: use Make Editor or Make Teacher on a collaborator’s row.
- Remove from House: they lose access at once. Any Party they run stays theirs.
- Leave this House: a collaborator’s own way out. They lose access to the House, and any Party they run stays theirs. The owner doesn’t leave a House; the owner deletes it.
You never need collaborators to teach
A House works on its own: you create it, you own it, and you run your own Parties. Collaborators are for sharing a course. Nothing creates one for you.
