Upgrade Your Subscription

Everything core to RPGLMS — joining classes, creating campaigns and parties, playing quizzes — is free. Paid tiers add AI content generation, premium cosmetics, and collaboration features. This page explains the plans and how to change yours.

The plans

Each paid plan has two names: the one on the Subscription screen (the plan name) and a friendlier alias used on the signup chips.

Buy more credit

Your plan’s monthly credit is not the only way to get AI credit. The AI Credit Balance card on the Subscription screen carries a Buy More Credit button, which opens the Buy AI Credit dialog — select a pack, then tap Buy. The same card links the AI rate card, which lists what each kind of request costs, and a Credit statement that shows your balance month by month.

Credit packs are one-off purchases, available from Patron upward. They never change your plan.

Packs carry no bonus — a bigger pack simply holds more. Two things are worth knowing before you buy:

• Credit you paid for is spent last. Credit is spent in order: your plan's credit first, then credit an administrator has granted, then credit you bought in a pack. Buying a pack therefore can’t cause that month’s plan credit to go to waste.
• Packs that would not fit are disabled, with the reason shown. Your whole balance — plan credit, granted credit and packs together — can hold up to 25,000 credits, and a pack that would go over is greyed out, with how much room is left.

Pack credit is usable while your subscription is active. If your plan lapses it is kept, not lost, and it spends again when you resubscribe to Patron or higher.

Change your plan

1. Open the Subscription screen

   Reach it from the Manage Subscription row in the Player Journal drawer (it’s also offered contextually — for example View Plans on an AI quota message or a premium-locked avatar warning). The top status card shows your current tier, status, and renewal — or Complimentary access with a Promotional badge if your plan was granted rather than bought. Under it, the AI Credit Balance card shows what’s left of your credit and a Buy More Credit button.

2. Review the plan cards

   Above the list you’ll see Choose a Plan (if you’re not subscribed) or Change Plan. Each card shows the plan name and billing period (for example “Patron (Monthly)”), its tagline, the price, and a feature checklist. Your current plan is marked Current.

3. Tap the upgrade button

   Tap the button on the plan you want — Switch to Patron or Switch to Lord. (The same move offered from a quota message reads Upgrade to …, because there you are always below the tier it names.) This launches the native purchase sheet on iOS and Android, or the secure web checkout on the web app.

4. Complete payment and return

   After paying, the app confirms with your store/payment provider and shows Subscription activated! — your status card and the Current chip move to the new tier. If confirmation lags a moment, you’ll see a friendly “your new subscription will appear shortly” note that reconciles on its own.

5. Manage or restore (existing subscribers)

   Use Manage Subscription to open your store/payment management page, or Restore Purchases to re-sync an entitlement you already own.
